Ageless psalm

All power, energy, force, sovereignty, are Yours, Father. How magnificent Your law of good interpreting the universe.

His child

Sometimes, as here I sit in church— this place so filled with love, so free from fear— God's presence is so strong and near I know I am His child, much loved and dear. LEE REEDER.

Let the angels tell them

ANGELS. God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality.

Ephphatha

When he said "Be opened" did he doubt? Instead he walked straight forward in that eternal line of truth which, before Abraham, was there to deliver and to save. It opened then, it opens now as we, pressing on, walk this same straight line and, like him, looking up and giving thanks have no doubt.

Sight set free

Deliverance

The earth-weights of time and space would waylay and rob me of my peace and joy and love in the rush and crush and push of self-centered life style— but, wait, my soul, upon your God. Be still: then the melodies of Soul, with their cadences countless, sound the depths of the silence of my heart, drawing forth the pulsating, vital Christ treasures only the Mind named Love can impart.

To see God

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. " ( Matthew 5:8 ) No need for waiting.

Prayer of a nature lover

Like the Psalmist, who sang, "The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof," let me see all environed in blessings, walking in a living land, no ugliness or death— only the beauty of the living God, made plain at every step. And let me accompany with undaunted song the declaring heavens, the rejoicing hills.
