Challenge: purify thought!

We dip gingerly into the pool of spiritual sense .

Edit thoughts

Feeling false attraction? Fighting strong distraction? Issue a retraction! Delete wrong suggestion; Declare your perfection As Love's true reflection! MARY MAVIS RILEY.

Why had all the flowers gone?

I was looking for flowers for hours and hours craving their fragrant perfume. But I tromped them down into the ground Smashing their radiant bloom.

It's where you play the game

If you and your team won't play the inner-thoughted game of domination and submission— suggested human will— then we can all walk over to my public stadium of matter and play by of loud argument and discord. Some choice! Where is God's exit from this fantasy (where verbal bullies call the plays in consciousness)? Through open door of silent prayer I take my team of thought and my thought of team to idea-fields of God, immortal Mind, where I truly live and move and play the game acknowledging myself and everyone obedient to Principle and thus self-governed in the universe of perfect spiritual law of harmony for all and liberty for each.

Jesus' penetrating sight!

Jesus' sharp vision plunged far beyond mere intellectual nodding about Spirit, Truth. For Jesus saw the real man (free, without flaw)— his thought soared, he realized perfection! One sheep lost-and found

Once upon a day, in my youthful naiveté, I followed a flock of sheep— and lost my way. I didn't realize then that sheep without a shepherd are apt to go astray and thus become the lion's prey.

Will you be a follower?

Will you be a follower, Letting God lead, Always listening With faith to heed? Will you be a follower Of Jesus, His Son, With faith to walk uncharted paths As he has done? Will you be a follower With your Leader, Mrs. Eddy, Joyously, faithfully, Sandals on.

Complete surrender

Yes, I worked with the possibility (And others worked with me) Of self-subordination, Putting off "the old man" Even the quiet giving up Of oversought glory of award/reward. Sounds great! It's not so bad: maybe I can demonstrate this more fully As my understanding grows— Little by little— Some day.
