Equipollence

In God's equipollence The pressure is even: Within and without Is the kingdom of heaven. Our balance is justice, The justice of Love; We are held in the Christ, Where we live and we move.

"The hour is come"

" Father , the hour is come. " So Jesus said (His work well done); His glorious heritage, before him spread, Outshone the sun.

Daily Bread

Today is new— A time for thinking fresh thoughts. It does not repeat or imitate Last week, last month, last year.

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God"

If I expect the healing truth to pour Into my heart, I must provide a place Where innocence will dwell for evermore. With open mind, with head upraised in trust, With pure and gentle love, with unveiled face, I shall lift thought to God and, meek and mild, Just find myself in Him.

"Before ye ask him"

Let the Father speak! Do not enlighten Him. You cannot anyway.

My Prayer

Give me enthusiasm for Thy work; Increase my zeal that I may use each hour For Thee. Anoint my soul.

Guidance

The Hairs of Your Head All Numbered

The Psalmist, to express God's tenderness, 'Spoke of the sheep that dwell so peacefully Within the shepherd's safe protectiveness. Then came the Nazarene, to teach and show That the relationship of God to us Is perfect love.

In Furnace Fire They Found the Son of God

When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego Refused to worship any but their God, The king decreed that they be bound, and cast Into a burning, fiery furnace. Then The king, astonied, saw amid the flames Not three men bound but four men loose—the fourth Who walked with them was like the Son of God! When we refuse to worship and bow down Before an image of the carnal mind, And we are cast into the furnace fire Of hate's revenge on its destroyer, Love, Our God is able to deliver us.
