Testimonies of Healing

North Munroe, N. H.

[Extract from a letter to Mrs. Mary E. Harris, C. S.]

From the April 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

My precious friend: I often think of you as earnestly engaged in the good work, so dear to you and so beneficial to suffering humanity. Most earnestly do I hope that Christian Science will come off victorious over all its opponents, and that those who have so long been held in bondage by sin and sickness may see the dawn of a glorious liberty, and a day of release from suffering. May God speed the time! Every day do I become more and more convinced of the power of Christian Science, because of what I know it has done for me,—not forgetting that it has been through your unceasing efforts that the change has been wrought; nor shall I cease to ask God's blessing upon you, my darling friend, and upon this great and good cause.

Lovingly yours,
