Testimony from Lisbon, N. H.

From the April 1886 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I have been deaf some fifteen or twenty years, and for seven or eight years have not been able to hear anything through my left ear. I could not hear a watch tick close to that ear. Now I hear as well with that ear as the other. I can hear the clock tick in any part of the room, and I have not had treatment,— only a few moments' talk with Mrs. C. A. Jones, of Portland. She says that now I can hear as well as anyone, and so I can.

Mrs. Jones treated my father, George W. Strout, who was very deaf; and, after only one treatment, he could hear low conversation in any part of the room.

She has cured my daughter, twenty years old, of phthisic, which she has had ever since she was two years old. She has also made the girl "every whit whole;" for when she left her work in November, all that knew her said Mary would not live till spring. It seems as though I must be in another world, having her well, for she was so great a care to me. May God bless Mrs. Jones.
