A curious instance of the power of the imagination is reported from Marlboro, Mass. A leg of a woman had been amputated, and buried one month. The woman complained that two of the toes of her buried leg overlapped each other, and pained her dreadfully. The husband, unknown to his wife, had the leg exhumed, and the toes straightened out, and she said she knew, by the relief that she felt, the exact moment when the act was performed.
