I would like to acknowledge, through the Journal, what Christian Science has done for me. I was taken suddenly ill at my place of business. I could neither stand erect, remember accurately, see straight, nor think connectedly. I lost all desire for food, and was compelled to take to my bed. Thirty minutes after the treatment I was able to sit up, feeling perfectly well. My desire for food returned. I ate two-thirds of a lobster, with hot bread, and walked nearly a mile after tea. I have always been troubled with rheumatism, but am free from it now, and think I enjoy better health than when I was young; and I feel that I owe the gain to Christian Science.
