Dear Friend:—I am thankful to inform you that, since your treatments, I feel like another person. I am improving rapidly, I can discover it daily. I am up and walking around, and have worked a little in the garden. I feel that soon I shall be able to rejoice once more in the fulness of health. I pray God may bless your efforts, and make you an instrument in his hands to bless suffering humanity, to heal the sick, and Christianize many souls into God's perfection. Please thank Mrs. T. for the package of papers she sent me. Tell her I read them, and prize highly the rich lessons I gleaned from their pages. I find more consolation in them than any other papers I ever read. I have had a long and tedious time of it since last fall; but I am now thankful for having found out your fidelity to God and suffering humanity. I thank you many times for your goodness toward me.
We should have written before now, but thought it necessary to hear from you again before we wrote. I will let you hear from me often. I thank you kindly for the Journals, I find them so interesting. I would be so glad if I had the book of Mrs. Eddy, Science and Health.
I thank you for your explanatory letter, showing so plainly the difference between Christian Science and Mesmerism. I believe in the former, but cannot tolerate the latter. I love Christian Science because it is the work of God.
