I Doubt not but that there is a great deal of nonsense and humbuggery practised by all schools of Physicians. I knew nothing of the merits of the new departure in curing diseases called Christian Science. However, it seems to me there is "method in their madness," and I never feel like condemning anything simply because it don't happen to agree with my previous ideas. The power of mind over matter is undoubtedly very great; if properly applied, there is room for great results; and if you would dismiss all thoughts of whether you felt ill or otherwise, I have no doubt you would be able in a short time to score a decided improvement. I would rather have no medicine whatever in the house, than to be continually dosing down this or that, and then imagine good results bad followed.
