Dear Journal:—I wish to bear testimony to the great benefit our daughter received from treatment by Mrs. A. M. H., a Christian Scientist of this city. I know of other cures of chronic cases; but with my daughter it was an acute attack of neuralgia, from which she has suffered, at times, for several years. From intense suffering, and violent sick stomach, she went to sleep almost immediately after Mrs. H. commenced treatment, and in a very short time arose, dressed, put up her hair, and ate a hearty meal. Heretofore, in such spells, she could eat nothing for several days, nor could she arrange her hair for days, as the scalp would be so very tender and sore. I only wish time would allow me to give other cases by Mrs. H., the only representative Christian Scientist in our city.
I also send testimonial from a lady, Mrs. Harmon of Maple and McMillen Ave., Avon-dale, Cincinnati, Ohio; she sending it with the request that I enclose it with mine. She says: "I had been an invalid for six months, was nearly deaf in one ear; the opposite eye had something growing over it, so I could barely see. I went to a Christian Scientist, a student of Mrs. Eddy's. In twenty treatments was perfectly restored, and have been entirely well since the first of last November; out in all kinds of weather without taking cold."
Mrs. A. M. H. has performed some wonderful cures of insanity, and through truth in the Science, been the means of conversion of infidels, the same being restored to health, with granulated eyes healed, as soon as they acknowledged there was a God. It seems so strange, people are not willing to let their names be given when they are benefited.
