It was the beauty of the teachings of Christian Science that appealed to me, and led me to investigate further. It is so reasonable, and at the same time so uplifting that it should appeal to any right-thinking person. I have derived so many spiritual blessings from this beautiful Truth, that my heart goes out in thanks to God as well as to our beloved Leader.
A case that came to my notice was that of a young lady who was urged by her physician to have a capital operation performed, when immediately a brother advised her to try Christian Science first. Much against her will, and without the least faith, she commenced treatment the following day. After a few treatments the pain left her, and she also began to lose her fear; and now she is in perfect health. Her views of life, as well as her disposition have been quite transformed, and while before she had been looking only for darkness and sorrow, she now sees joy and happiness.
