Before I heard of Christian Science I had been under the care of physicians for three years, who told me my trouble could not be helped, as I had had it from birth. I had two operations and would have a third but the doctor said I could not stand it. One was in the Post Graduate Hospital in Chicage.
I Could not sleep without the medicine the doctor had given me, and it was reported that I was dead, when a very dear friend of our family told my mother of Christian Science and the help she had received. She came to see me and told me how she had been healed, and it seemed I could not help but believe what she told me. I decided to try Christian Science, and in August, 1898, I went to Chicago to a healer and was healed. I have never had a return of the trouble.— Osgood, la.
