I had suffered for many years from stomach and bowel trouble, and had three years of almost constant sickness. After medical skill and all material remedies had failed me, and when I felt that I was on the verge of death, I was induced to try Christian Science as a last resort. When the practitioner came and told me I could be well again, I thought it was so strange after all these years of complaining; however, after treatment I began to improve, and could eat anything I desired without any bad results from it. My stomach and bowel trouble with other ailments disappeared. I gained a proper understanding of God as divine Love, through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
I cannot feel grateful enough to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, also to my practitioner and other Scientists for what has been done for me in lifting me out of despondency, invalidism, and almost insanity or the grave, and restoring health and happiness with a spiritual uplifting which is indescribable.
