My gratitude for Christian Science cannot be expressed in words, but I give this testimony hoping that it may be the means of helping others. When Christian Science was presented to me, about four years ago, I was a mental and physical wreck, and as I did not understand Christian Science I even feared to tell the practitioner to whom I went of all my troubles and ailments at once, for fear she would not take my case. I was very anxious to be healed as others had been, and I felt this was my only chance of recovery, as all material remedies had been exhausted in my case. It is impossible to describe the transformation which took place in mind and body during the two weeks that followed. When I was ready to go home, completely healed, it seemed too good to be true. Since then we have had many beautiful demonstrations in our home, one—a case of lung trouble—being cured in three absent treatments.
Not only am I grateful for the physical healing, but I have learned also how to understand the Bible through the teachings in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I can now prove the allness of God, which before I could only believe. For all this I am truly grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, who has made it possible for us to demonstrate this blessed truth,—she who so lovingly and patiently leads us out of darkness into the light and liberty of the children of God.
