After years of treatment for mental and physical trouble under the best physicians, my case was pronounced a hopeless one, and I was sentenced to years of suffering, which forced me to leave school. My parents finally had me try Christian Science, as a last resort. I received so much help from the first treatment that I commenced to study the wonderful text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the Lesson-Sermons, which gave me a rule to work by and live by; then new hope sprang up in my heart that there was a way to cast out all fear. One night, while laboring under a great sense of suffering, this Scriptural verse came to me," Perfect love casteth out fear," and the demonstration was made and my healing completed. I received a purer, higher, and more spiritual concept of God, and now my daily prayer is that I may express more gratitude and obedience to this Christ-teaching that has come to us through our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
