Thankfulness to God impels me to tell others of the wonderful healing which has come to us through Christian Science Three years ago our little daughter was stricken with epileptic trouble. She was, however, completely healed with one week's treatment in Christian Science, and is now healthy and strong. At that time I went through a great mental struggle, and am convinced I would not be living today had it not been for my knowledge of this truth At that time evil seemed to predominate in our home, and I had taken up the fight against it. I was so low that I could not take nourishment, but I was made completely whole with two absent treatments, and was able to overcome the evil. Today I am entirely well and strong and can work hard.
Two years ago my husband was taken with severe lung trouble and his kidneys were also said to be affected. He looked like a skeleton and suffered terribly, as it was very hard for him to get a right understanding of Christian Science. In the hour of greatest need we called a Christian Science practitioner, and when fear and doubt had been overcome the disease also yielded. With two weeks' treatment my husband recovered entirely, and six weeks later he was stronger than ever before. Today he feels like one new born and can attend to his work as a cartwright. We thank God daily for the great grace which He has shown us. We have not had any physician or veterinarian, or used any drug for the past three years, and have become really happy people. We have some battles to fight, for we are the first adherents of Christian Science in this place, but we know that Jesus has said: "Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
