Two and a half years ago our then ten-year-old boy fell and injured his knee while at play. A hard swelling formed, and we called a physician, who stated that the knee-joint was seriously affected. He prescribed accordingly, and said that the boy should stay in bed from six to eight weeks. As there was no improvement after two days, he wanted to perform an operation, to which, however, I did not consent. I then called upon a Christian Science practitioner and asked for treatment for the boy, and the result was wonderful, for after the first treatment he was able to get up and walk about in the room, and after two more treatments he was completely freed.
This is only a small proof of God's ever-present help, but it would take too much space to tell about the manifold blessings which we have received through Christian Science. I am grateful to God with all my heart, also to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who through her selflessness and love has again revealed the truth.
