I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, and I trust it may help to bring some one from darkness into light, as I have been brought. When I came into Christian Science I had for over twenty-five years been struggling with a distressing trouble of my head and eyes, which was growing worse all the time; and after reading about Christian Science I went to a practitioner for further explanation, and to see if there was any help for me. After listening to his explanation, the dark veil was lifted from my sight. I at once began to take treatment, and in three weeks the disease was overcome.
Some time later I had a felon, and as soon as I asked for help from the practitioner, the pain ceased, although poisoning had made its appearance. The next morning my finger was healed. I attended to all my work, and my nearest friends did not know my finger was even sore. I also had a very bad boil over one of my eyes, and when I was in the midst of house cleaning my face and neck became much swollen; but when I called for help the healing power that was demonstrated was wonderful.
For this healing, and many other blessings, I am very grateful. I am thankful to God for giving us this truth through Mrs. Eddy, who has explained it in such a way as to make it plain that God is indeed omnipotent and omnipresent.— Neodesha, Kan.
