It is with a sense of deep gratitude that I wish to tell of the benefits I have received through Christian Science. A year ago I had a severe attack of lung trouble, which grew worse from day to day, with rising temperature, and finally turned into a typical case of fever. Our family physician consulted two professional colleagues, and within a few days as many as nine injections were made; yet there was no improvement, and after the ninth injection all three physicians gave up hope of recovery. No human means could afford help, and I was in a state of great distress, when our attention was called to Christian Science. We immediately telegraphed to a practitioner for treatment, which was taken up most willingly and lovingly, and in a few hours I experienced relief. Our family physician could hardly believe it when he called again, late in the evening, and found me not only living but markedly improved. I and my family, however, knew to whom we owed the preservation of my life.
