I wish to give thanks for all the blessings that have come to me and mine since my son sent us a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy over four years ago. Within a few months from the time when I began to read this book, many ailments, some of long standing, disappeared one after another. I was able to give up the use of medicine, which I had taken several times a week and thought I could not do without, while a support which I had worn for nearly thirty years was put away; and finally an opiate which I had always needed if I was at all overworked, was used no more. Now I can work harder and sleep better than ever, although I am past middle age.
More than all this, however, is the peace and happiness which have come from this inspired teaching. Truth never fails to help us in any troubles that come up, and as time goes on I feel more and more that divine Love is ever present. The Christian Science literature is looked forward to and read with the greatest pleasure, and the testimonies in the Journal and Sentinel have been a great help to me. I am indeed blessed in having my husband, son, and three daughters all students of Christian Science. My greatest wish is to show my thankfulness fulness to God, and my gratitude to our beloved Leader, by trying to live the life of a Christian Scientist, and thus to be a channel for bringing the truth to others.
I am now enjoying the best of health, and the healing truth of Christian Science is ever more precious to me as time goes on. I fully realize that my gratitude for having this saving truth made known to me can be adequately expressed only in my life.— Nerang, Queensland, Australia.
