The following testimony is given with a heart full of love and gratitude to God, the giver of all good, for Christian Science as discovered and founded by Mrs. Eddy.
Since taking up the study of this wonderful teaching I have been healed of acute stomach trouble and of chilblains. The winter before I came into Christian Science my feet pained me and were so swollen that no shoes could be worn with comfort. I have also been healed of a rash which was accompanied with severe itching, and of fear of the dark and of being alone. While at one time I would not even go upstairs alone in the dark and did not like being left in the house in the daytime, during the last few years I have often been alone evenings and sometimes all night with no fear, but happy in the realization of God's presence and protection. From being listless and tired I have changed into a well, strong, and happy woman.
For health and prosperity for myself and for my husband I am grateful, but for the understanding of God and His law, for the real joy brought us as we live in the consciousness of good, I am more grateful.— Meriden, Conn.
