About six years ago I was in a very depressed state mentally, also physically weak. One morning a severe cold developed in my head, and my throat became sore. I had known of Christian Science for many years, but had never understood it. I however had some faith in it, so decided to call on a practitioner. The lady was very kind and gave me a treatment. I went home feeling much happier, and within a few minutes realized that all soreness had left my throat. I called on the practitioner the next day and she continued treatment, as I really needed a spiritual uplift, the understanding of Truth. This she lovingly helped me to realize, and although I did not understand much of what she told me, I felt her loving thought for me, and it was at the end of three months' study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, together with treatment, that I regained my health and the light came to me.
