I can vouch for the above testimony as being correct in every detail. Through my daughter's wonderful healing, after years of suffering and the failure of materia medica even to relieve her, I too turned to Christian Science and had some wonderful healings. Christian Science has helped me in all ways, spiritually, physically, and financially, and to more harmonious surroundings. I have been healed of attacks of severe colds on my chest every winter, car sickness, eczema on the hands. For years I tried every known remedy on the market and different doctors for this last named disease, but nothing seemed to help until I was healed in Christian Science.
I would like to tell of one other healing for which I am very grateful. About two o'clock one morning I was seized with smothering pains around the heart. I could not lie down and it was very difficult for me to breathe. After a while I was able to awaken my daughter and ask her to get help for me immediately. She went to the telephone and on account of the lateness of the hour it was some little time before she could get a response to the call, but in the meantime the truth was declared constantly, that God is the only Life and power and that God never slumbers nor sleeps, but always watches and takes care of His children. In about twenty minutes my daughter got into communication with the practitioner and was lovingly assured that the work would be taken up immediately. I soon fell asleep and did not awaken until morning, when I arose and performed my duties and with one more Christian Science treatment the smothering feeling, depression, and weakness had absolutely disappeared and I was healed. I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science. I am thankful to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us this religion of love, which heals all mankind through spiritual understanding. —
