Words fail to express my heartfelt gratitude for Christian Science. Two years ago I was condemned by four London specialists and two doctors to a life of almost chronic invalidism.
I was suffering from a disease of the eyes and neck which was practically incurable and was in such a weak, critical condition at a nursing home that I was unable to see even my own sister and could only speak by making a great effort. I was treated as a "bad heart" case. Then Mrs. Eddy's wonderful book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," was brought to me with its marvelous healing power. With the help of a practitioner I was able within ten days to give up my nurses, and leave the home, and to undertake an hour's journey by rail, knowing the divine Mind to be the source of strength. I no longer wear glasses, having no need for them, nor have I touched any drugs since I left the nursing home.
