After reading an article in The Christian Science Journal I realized the necessity of sending in a testimony of the many healings I have received through Christian Science. My first healing took place about four years ago, when I was healed of nervous indigestion of many years' standing. Since then colds, sore throat, lumbago, and other physical ills, as well as resentment, discontent, and many bad traits, have disappeared. For a short time during the influenza epidemic I worked as a nurse in a hospital, and through the help of a practitioner was protected from contagion, being the only nurse unaffected by it. Through Christian Science I have learned to love the Bible, which previously was a closed book.
For all these blessings I am indeed very thankful; and I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her life work, Christian Science, and for all its activities through which we learn to help ourselves and others out of the mire of materiality.— Ranger, Texas.
