I came into Christian Science through my son's healing of a tubercular disease of the spine. Many doctors had been tried, but he was in a cast and nearly helpless. He was healed after only a few Christian Science treatments, and this seemed wonderful to me. My parents were Christians and I had attended church and Sunday school all my life, but I found I had been groping in the dark, never having understood God aright until after coming into Christian Science. Its teaching has proved a wonderful blessing to me. I was healed of a cough of twenty years' standing through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and of attacks of liver trouble with only one treatment. A heart trouble was also overcome by the reading of Science and Health. My left foot was drawn out of shape, owing to a fractured bone, but was healed in five treatments. My granddaughter was healed of pneumonia with only one absent treatment when she was thought to be passing away, and of diphtheria with five treatments.
I am indeed grateful for all of Mrs. Eddy's writings. I feel that the most wonderful of all blessings received is the peace of mind I enjoy. I have to grow in understanding and to reflect God in my daily life.— Glen Olden, Pa.
