I have been healed through Christian Science of the liquor habit and a long line of other bad habits. While attending a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in 1918 I was healed of the tobacco habit, which I had indulged for about seventeen years, and have not been tempted to return to it. I was healed of influenza in one treatment last winter, and colds, oak poisoning, and many other ailments have also been overcome. I am very grateful for our reading rooms, which are an ever present harbor in time of storms, also for our publications, including The Christian Science Monitor, which keeps me in touch with the needs of others.
I am thankful to God and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her unselfish sacrifice in devoting her life to give to mankind this great truth. I am also grateful to all those who have been so patient and kind in helping me along the path of righteousness or right-mindedness.— Ogden, Utah.
