I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and the many blessings I have received. For eight years I was under the care of doctors without any benefit, but instead getting worse all the time. I had what they called chronic catarrh and ulceration of the stomach and bowels. I could eat only light food, and the doctors said there was no cure for me. Fifteen years ago I had Christian Science treatment seven weeks and was healed. Since then our only remedy has been the truth. My son has not tasted medicine since he was a year old and has been healed many times by the power of Truth. He has been away at school for several years and the truth as demonstrated in Christian Science has protected him no matter what so-called epidemic was among the students. Living on a farm we have had many beautiful demonstrations for our horses and cattle.
I am grateful for the privilege of class instruction and grateful to those who have helped me. I am thankful that Mrs. Eddy was so spiritually minded that she was able to bring this truth to the world, and thankful for the Sunday school and for the Lesson-Sermons. My daily prayer to God is for more light and spiritual understanding.— Caledonia, Wis.
