Recently I met an old-time acquaintance who spoke of my laying aside glasses, and of how wonderful it seemed to her. Certainly this demonstration over defective eyesight is a cause for deepest gratitude. I had worn glasses for nearly twenty years, had been treated by several specialists in the United States, but was led to believe that the sight in one eye was practically gone, and the other eye not much better. While having Christian Science treatment for another discordant condition, I seemed to feel that I must take off the glasses, and I left them in the practitioner's office. Later in the day, a sense of pain caused me to ask for help, but since that time the healing has been complete.
I am deeply grateful not only for this proof, but for all the beautiful healing work that is being done in Christian Science throughout the whole world to-day.—Brookline, Mass.
