Now that I am again in full possession of my health, I am prompted to thank God from the bottom of my heart for my healing and for all the blessings of which I have been a recipient through Christian Science. Several years ago I stood at the brink of the grave, according to the doctor's verdict. The trouble consisted of a so-called incurable lung trouble in addition to a completely shattered nerve system, which was supposed to be due to an abdominal trouble. This was followed by anæmia, and I also suffered severely from rheumatic pains, from sciatica, and almost indescribable headaches. My stomach often completely failed me for weeks at a time, so that I daily became weaker.
While in this hopeless condition I heard of Christian Science. After all these sad experiences I did not have much faith in this Science either. Still, very soon I noticed an improvement. Through the diligent study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and later through the help of a dear practitioner, I was freed from the most severe pain and gradually one physical discord after another left me, so that I feel entirely well now. Although the last years have been filled with excitement, my health has only improved. Since I have known this beautiful Science no serious illnesses have taken place in my family, although prior to this time they had never been lacking.
There is nothing more beautiful than this Science. It is the sure way to happiness while still on earth.— Reichenbach i. Schlesien, Germany.
