I feel very grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me; it is about nine years since I first heard of it through a friend. I was suffering from an internal complaint and had been attended for about two years by several doctors who said I would in all probability develop consumption. However, I wrote to a practitioner and asked her if I could be healed, and I shall always remember the beautiful and loving words I received in return, assuring me of my possible healing. The kind practitioner took up my case immediately and after four treatments I was absolutely healed.
I would like also to tell of my mother's healing, although she is not a Christian Scientist. A very large lump grew on her side, and as she was in a weak condition, the doctor ordered her to bed to gain strength before going to the hospital to be operated on. After a few days I asked her to try Christian Science and she said she would. The same practitioner took up her case and the healing was accomplished very quickly. I am indeed very grateful for all the benefits I have received, and I hope sometime to be able to help others as I have been helped.— Belfast, Ireland.
