Christian Science has brought many blessings into my experience. I came into a knowledge of the truth through treatment for severe inflammatory rheumatism of many years' standing, which medicine, mineral springs, and doctors' prescriptions had failed to cure. Finally, after I had been confined to my bed for many weeks, in great suffering and continually growing worse, my mother asked me to try Christian Science treatment. I consented. This was in the early evening. The practitioner talked with me and explained Christian Science treatment and its application to all needs. I then and there began to improve and in a couple of days I was able to go to the practitioner's office for treatments. After two treatments in the office I was completely healed and able to return to a very heavy form of work. There has never been any return of this trouble and it is many years ago that I had this experience. I am proud to call myself a student of Christian Science and I am grateful for the church services, for the literature, and for the companionship of other Scientists.—Hilmer Nelson, San Jose, California.
