I can never express in words the gratitude I feel for all the blessings I have received through Christian Science. I was suffering severely from a belief of blood poisoning all through my body, and when all material remedies failed to relieve me and the doctor said he could do no more for me, a dear friend brought a Christian Science practitioner to my home, and I was healed the same day; in fact, the practitioner came about three o'clock in the afternoon and I arose from my bed and attended to some household duties. This was several years ago and there has been no return of the symptoms. I have also been healed of floating kidneys and of an irritating cough which made me very fearful as the doctor said there was danger of consumption. I am grateful for some understanding of what Jesus meant when he said. "If ye continue in my word ... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I am truly thankful for all the loving help I have had, also for a better understanding of the Bible and for the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for the truth contained therein is indeed the "pearl of great price."
I am striving daily to know more of this beautiful truth, and thank God for having led me into Christian Science.— Bolton, England.
