On page 494 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy says, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." When I first read this statement I fancied I had found the panacea for all my wants, but almost at once I learned that one must sharply differentiate between a need and a want, and when I have done so and have applied God's law as taught in Christian Science, the need has been met. During the past year I have seen the results of the application of an understanding of the truth again and again, whether the need was for a house in which to live or for a pound of sugar. I have seen classroom needs met promptly, whether in the grades or in college. Dependence on human reason leads into dark and uncertain paths, but through the simple processes of the incontrovertible logic of Christian Science, swift and provable conclusions are reached.

Christian Science has healed me of many physical ills and I am sincerely grateful for these proofs, but it has given me something which I prize even more highly, an anchor, a sure foundation. No longer am I a victim of circumstances, a thing tossed hither and thither by the vagaries of mortal mind. Christian Science has enabled me to claim my birthright, dominion.—
