Many undesirable traits in my disposition have been and are being constantly destroyed by right thinking as taught in Christian Science. I am filled with joy in having found the "pearl of great price"' and in having its power demonstrated in overcoming the ills to which the flesh is heir, both through my own understanding and with the help of a practitioner. Mrs. Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 254): "Individuals are consistent who watching and praying, can 'run and not be weary; . . . walk, and not faint.' who gain good rapidly and hold their position, or attain slowly and yield not to discouragement." I am glad that she has called both of these classes consistent.
I am most grateful for class instruction and for the periodicals: being located where I am unable to attend church services I find them unspeakably helpful, I pray for that Mind to be in me "which was also in Christ Jesus," and that I may be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist.—Oxford, North Carolina.
