But why should my song be new?
All my songs, the past years.
Used through triumph and through tears,
Have been as a friend proved true.
Yet. "Sing unto the Lord a new song!"
Is a command from Infinity;
Crowning fulfilled obedience
With visions of Trinity.
Come, "Sing unto the Lord a new song!"
Clothed with beatified force,
For a new song each day,
Unfolds the divine way
To its vast creative source.
