I came in Christian Science in 1914, partly out of curiosity and partly for the healing. Through reading the textbook I have been completely healed of severe eye trouble, after having been told that nothing further could be done for me. This is a proof that "man's extremity is God's opportunity." Since then I have had other demonstrations, and was wonderfully helped in overcoming fear during the air raids. I am truly grateful for the great help received during childbirth, and that our little girl is so bonny and healthy, also for the love and happiness in our home. I do indeed feel grateful for a religion that can be used "seven days in the week."
Our blessings are too numerous to mention. I can only say. in the words of Mrs. Eddy, in her poem, "Christ My Refuge" (Poems, p. 12):—
My prayer, some daily good to do
To Thine, for Thee;
An offering pure of Love, whereto
God leadeth me.
