You came from Mind,
And are the seedling of fulfillment
Designed to bless mankind.
Blest desire!
Because you are
A gift from God,
Your seeking tendrils
Are not entwined
Through mortal dust nor earthly sod.
Complete desire!
You are the bud
Of Mind's decision,
That knows no doubt,
Nor bends with fear
Beneath a world's derision.
Fulfilled desire!
Time never was
Without your guiding hand;
The trusting heart,
Secure with you,
Has reached its promised land.
