I feel that I must add my testimony to those of others who have been healed by the power of Truth. About two and a half years ago I took up the study of Christian Science earnestly, seeking health and happiness. My first demonstration was the overcoming of sick headaches which I had been subject to for a number of years. And I was also healed of a very painful nervous eye trouble which a specialist said was incurable. After seeing the light I seemed to lose it again and was back in the wilderness of doubt and fear. I held to the truth, however, and God has lovingly guided me into the right way. No matter how severe our struggle seems to be, if we will but hold to the truth we shall gain the victory.
What I am most grateful for is the spiritual awakening and a sense of rest and peace,—"the peace of God, which passeth all understanding." My prayer is that I may so let my light shine that I may be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist. I am grateful to God, to Christ Jesus the Way-shower, and to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for this beautiful truth.—Minneapolis, Minn.
