I wish to express gratitude for the good we have realized through Christian Science. Man's extremity was God's opportunity in my case. I was healed of a lifelong ailment in one treatment followed by two weeks' study of the textbook. Both of our children were born with only a practitioner in attendance and I found much help and invariable relief from discordant conditions by studying page 463 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, especially the line, "Though gathering new energy, this idea cannot injure its useful surroundings in the travail of spiritual birth." Our children are strong and healthy and have never tasted medicine. My husband, the little girl, and I were also beautifully healed of influenza just before our baby came. Shortly after this we moved to a ranch, where we were deprived of the privilege of going to church, and of association with Christian Science friends, but omnipresent Principle has guided and protected us and supplied our needs.
We have found much daily help in the Lesson-Sermons and literature. A short time ago my husband was working on a building when the scaffolding broke and he fell a distance of thirty feet. Some ribs were broken and many loosened. Before I learned of the accident a doctor had been called by neighbors. He pronounced my husband in grave danger from internal injuries. I telephoned to a practitioner immediately, who treated him and he soon gained in strength. A month later he was at the plow, much to the surprise of our neighbors. The broken bones knitted perfectly and he is now enjoying the best of health.— Oakdale, California.
