I am indeed grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. When Christian Science came to me, my little boy and I were greatly in need of help. He having been delicate from babyhood, was not allowed to do any of the things boys generally do, so he began to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and to attend the Sunday school, and I am indeed grateful to say that we found the truth, and in just a short time he was playing as other boys do. He said to me: "Mother, why don't you go to church? I know it will help you as it is helping me." So I did as he asked me to.
I began to read Science and Health and to attend the Wednesday evening meetings, and laid aside the medicine I had been taking to see if I could be made free, and I can truthfully say I was healed from chronic constipation for which I had been taking medicine every day from girlhood. This was a great proof to me of God's power and I am indeed grateful for these demonstrations and for many others we have received through Christian Science. It has been a great help in time of sorrow, and many unpleasant conditions have also been overcome. I am grateful to the friends who have helped me, and I shall try to live more each day in obedience to the teaching of Christian Science.— Los Angeles, Calif.
