Seventeen months after a very serious operation I was confined to my bed with what the physicians termed tuberculosis of the bowels and intestines. For five months prior to turning to Christian Science for help I was unable to retain any food, and was thought to be in a very serious condition. I had to be cared for like an infant, having lost the use of my limbs entirely. Five of Dayton's best physicians said that I could not get well.
About the first of December, 1919, friends persuaded me to try Christian Science. On Christmas day I was able to walk from the house to the street and go by automobile to visit my sister living in another part of the city. I rapidly improved; in two months was practically well, and have remained so ever since. I am now able to take care of my household duties, go to market, and do my own sewing. Words cannot express my gratitude to God and to Christian Science for what has been done for me.—Dayton, Ohio.
