After four years of suffering from a stomach condition claimed to be hereditary, and for which there seemed to be no permanent relief under medical treatment, Christian Science was recommended to me by a friend, who at the same time gave me a Christian Science Sentinel. After reading and rereading the articles and testimonies given there, I decided to purchase a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. While reading this wonderful book, I received a complete and permanent healing. Following this healing, I laid off glasses which I had worn for twelve years. These healings fully convinced me that I had found the truth; and I immediately began a systematic study of Christian Science. The fruits of this study have been health, happiness, and peace; and the understanding of God and His idea gained through this study has met my every need during the past ten years.
I am most grateful for all the activities of the Christian Science movement. My gratitude for Christian Science can only be expressed in a more consecrated effort to demonstrate more and more of its teachings as understanding unfolds the truth to me. — Los Angeles, Calif.
