It is with a heart full of joy and gladness that I take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me during the past thirteen years. The Psalmist sang, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." So it has been in my experience. God has forgiven my iniquities, has healed my diseases; and I am grateful for all His benefits.
I can truly testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science; for it found me in great need, and has healed me many, many times. About four years ago, I was stricken with ptomaine poisoning in its worst form, being laid very low. Through the loving help of a practitioner I was freed from this ill, and at the same time was healed of hemorrhoids of many years' standing.
When Christian Science came to my notice, I was very fearful. I seemed to be afraid of everything; but through the teaching of Christian Science, which has brought into my life the knowledge of a loving, compassionate Father-Mother God, who is all-powerful and ever present, and who protects and guides His children and keeps them in perfect peace and harmony, I have in a measure mastered fear. I am very grateful for the understanding I have of God and of man's relationship to Him. I love to dwell in thought on the allness of good, on all-inclusive divine Mind, including all right ideas; to think of "the secret place of the most High," where all God's children dwell in harmony; to know that God cannot dispense with one of them, and that it takes God and His ideas, the Father and His children, to make the complete whole.
