I desire to give an account of some of the blessings I have received since turning to Christian Science. I was healed instantaneously of what the physician said was incurable organic liver and kidney trouble. When I saw that I was healed, tears streamed down my face for joy. Since that time God, as revealed in Christian Science, has been my only physician. I have also been healed of ptomaine poisoning, inflammation of the bowels, influenza, and many minor disorders. I would mention especially the healing of my shoulder and arm, which had been lame for thirty years as a result of pitching ball when a youth. This healing came after I had been reading Christian Science literature for seven years. I never had treatment for this trouble.
For all these blessings I wish to express profound gratitude, first to God, the Giver of all good; secondly, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; thirdly, to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, as she was the channel through which "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" came to us; fourthly, I express my appreciation of class instruction; lastly, I wish to express my gratitude to all the practitioners who have helped me over many rough places.
