Testimonies of Healing

I became interested in Christian Science...

From the September 1924 issue of The Christian Science Journal

I became interested in Christian Science through my husband's healing. After I had gone to church with him for some time the hymns became familiar to me. I found myself hummung the tunes and repeating the words, and gradually they came to mean something. I think the words,

"Whatever dims thy sense of truth,
Or stains thy purity,
Though light as breath of summer air,
Count it as sin to thee,"

were the first I pondered. Then the phrases "What is thy birthright, man?" and "Love's work and Love must fit" would stay with me for days.
