I hereby wish to testify that through Christian Science my dear mother was healed of a severe illness. In February, 1923, she had violent hemorrhages of the lungs. In the first excitement we called a doctor, and he ordered her to swallow ice, to have cold poultices, and to lie perfectly still. The first two orders were very disagreeable, because it was very cold and the patient was shivering. Then came an attack of pleurisy also. After the doctor had called upon the patient twice, I went to see a Christian Science practitioner. She at once began treatments, and we stopped the poultices and medicine. After the first treatment my mother was able to sleep well and peacefully, and her condition improved daily. After four visits from the practitioner, she had recovered sufficiently to get up. She improved right along, and is now completely healed.
We thank God from the bottom of our hearts for His infinite love and goodness. To Him belongs all the praise. We are also grateful to the dear practitioner.— Berlin, Germany.
