I wish to express my gratitude to Christian Science for the wonderful healing I had in the winter of 1914.

On returning home from a visit, I brought with me a large corn sheller to save going back after it the next day. On the way, the sleigh upset and the corn sheller fell on top of me, breaking the pelvic bone. We telephoned a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me, as I was in great pain and would not have a doctor, for I knew God was my only helper. When the practitioner received word, there was instant relief from the severe pain. On the fourth day I felt so well I desired to get out of bed, but had to stay a few days longer, being unable to arise. On the tenth day I got up, and was able to walk by the aid of a chair. In three weeks I was outdoors doing all my own work, which consisted of hauling hay, straw, and taking care of ninety head of hogs, forty head of cattle, and seventeen head of horses. All this I did with as much ease as before I was hurt.—
