I am very grateful that I have been led to the study of Christian Science. It has changed my outlook on life, showing me that the promises of the Bible are fulfilled now for us.
I should like to tell of two of the many healings I have had in Christian Science. Several years ago hay fever developed and I could not sleep. I had a cold all the time, and could not breathe without difficulty. After suffering for two weeks in this way, application was made to a practitioner for treatment. In a few days the trouble left, and has never returned. At another time, I awoke one morning suffering from a form of erysipelas. A practitioner was called. In two days the inflammation was gone, and the healing was complete.
The healing of physical ills is only a small part of Christian Science, which teaches us to know God and to understand that real happiness is ever with us and does not depend on material conditions. For these things I am very grateful. My desire is to reflect Life, Truth, and Love as Christ Jesus, our great Exemplar, did.— Bushland, Texas.
