Testimonies of Healing

Not having found in the so-called...

From the December 1925 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Not having found in the so-called orthodox church the practical religion which I craved, and having no firm foundation upon which to stand, I turned to Christian Science some fifteen years ago, as it seemed to offer that which I sought. I desired above all things a religious teaching for my young children; and truly in Christian Science this need has been adequately met. The path has not been an easy one, for fear, doubt, and discouragement blocked the way; but always the light has grown brighter, and the pathway less difficult.

There have been many physical healings. My eldest son was healed of pneumonia. Though quite emaciated when first rising from bed, a few days later he was able to join a Boy Scout camping expedition, from which he returned a week later in perfect health. Another son was miraculously saved in an automobile accident; and there have come many other blessings through the understanding of the truths of Christian Science.

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to Jesus the Christ, our Way-shower, to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and to all those who are working so faithfully to relieve and bless mankind.—
